Sam along with his father Greg Sr. founded the business in 1975 in Schenectady, NY. Sam has been said by many to be a visionary in the pallet business. Sam is the first businessmen in the pallet industry to introduce a nailing robot into the pallet business. Sam also introduced automation into the business which is still prominent today.
Gary graduated from Clarkson College with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and spent his first few years out of college employed at General Electric in Schenectady, NY. Gary had always spent summers working in the family business and shortly realized that his passion and desire was to be in the pallet business full-time. At that point he approached his father and Sam about joining the business full-time and the rest is history.
Dave spent over 20 years working as an executive with McLane Foodservice (a Berkshire-Hathaway company). Dave retired from McLane at age 55 and shorty after started Spencer Business Consulting. Dave began consulting with Power Pallet in January of 2018. It was evident that Dave's expertise in operations, HR policy, finance and accounting, and profit driven P & L management was driving excellent results. Dave's servant leadership management style has help improve the culture of Power Pallet. In June of 2020 Dave permanently joined Power Pallet as COO to continue with his strategic plan and growth initiatives for the business.
In January 2021 Dave was promoted to CEO.
Ryan is Sam's son and after attending Utica College decided to learn all that he could about the family business. Ryan came on board in 2011 and honed his knowledge of operations for seven years before delving into the sales and customer relationship side of the business in 2019.
Keith began his career with Power Pallet and Recycling in 2018 after a lengthy career in the Foodservice Distribution Business. Keith has extensive operations knowledge and with the support of his team is championed with the day to day challenges of the Pallet, Recycling, and Mulch operations.
Brittany has a Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Information Systems from the State University of New York at Albany. Brittany joined the company in early 2019 to fine tune all HR guidelines and to drive a positive employee engagement culture.
Anthony came out of retirement from the Industrial Paper Manufacturing business in January of 2019. Anthony has driven company initiatives in cost/benefit analysis, setting up new SOP's in accounting and P & L Management, Pricing, as well as setting budgetary guidelines.
Steve has been with Power Pallet for over 13 years and possesses outstanding heavy equipment and production skills. Steve is an expert in producing and coloring premium Mulch. Steve and his team produce thousands of yards of seasoned mulch for wholesale and retail sale each year.
