JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Functions:

The Outside Sales person will be performing a variety of sales activities for developing new accounts in the Northeast. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and developing a comprehensive prospect list within an assigned territory.
  • Developing  sales plan and a territory business plan that identifies and prioritizes new prospects.
  • Assist on the development of company-wide comprehensive strategic sales plan that identifies potential industries and additional services.
  • Build account relationships and deliverables for the monthly reports.
  • Assist with growing the marketing function within the business.
  • Cold Calling and closing via telephone and in-person appointments.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Inherent ability to work effectively in a team environment and a strong desire to win.
  • Consultative approach to great customer service.
  • Superb verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Enthusiastic personality who works well in a collaborative environment.
  • 30-40% travel required, mostly day trips (company travel is reimbursed).
  • Retail experience or sales experience preferred but not required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Functions:

  1. Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
  2. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  3. Perform mechanic skills to include; mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  4. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  5. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  6. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  7. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
  8. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report any unusual situations to supervision.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Competencies:

  1. High School Diploma/GED and completion of craft apprenticeship, or equivalent years of education and production maintenance experience needed.
  2. Manufacturing experience; with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical skills with some PLC and HVAC experienced preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective:

The Safety Assistant is responsible for assisting the Safety Manager in all safety-related matters, to ensure that a safe environment is maintained at all times for employees, visitors, vendors and guests.

Essential Functions:

  • Appropriately responds to all incidents/accidents and coordinates medical attention as needed.
  • Assists in monitoring the workplace to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, vendors, and guests.
  • Responsible for inventory, ordering and maintenance of personal protective equipment.
  • Maintains daily logs of activities and all safety-related matters.
  • Participates in incident and accident investigations.
  • Performs safety observations, audits and inspections, to ensure employee safety.
  • Assists in training and any other programs assigned by the Safety Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

  • Physical requirements may include extensive walking and/or standing up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Requires occasional bending, sitting, and stooping.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Schedule will vary according to operating needs, but will include early mornings, late evenings, some weekends.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have at least one year of manufacturing experience

Additional Qualifications

  • Must be able to work well with people of diverse backgrounds and temperaments.
  • Must have good organizational skills and be able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write the English language.
  • Must have experience in Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective:

The Yard Jockey is responsible for the timely movement, inspection and spotting of trailers, to facilitate the needs of the warehouse in sorting and processing material for shipment or storage.  The Yard Jockey must have thorough knowledge of on-hand inventory and positioning.

Essential Functions:

  1. Maintains a neat and orderly yard lot, orientated toward maximizing efficiency in servicing the plant needs.
  2. On a daily basis, operates yard trucks in a safe manner during numerous roll-on/roll-off procedures, involving loaded and empty trailers.
  3. Conducts preventive maintenance checks and services, as well as actual scheduled vehicle maintenance.
  4. Accounts for records, involving trailer numbers and weights on the scale log sheet, to include source and type of material.
  5. Interacts and communicates daily with dispatch, operations, and plant personnel.
  6. Performs other tasks as assigned by the transportation department.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective:

Once completing 12-month training program, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the leadership and management of employees in a manufacturing environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to airborne particles and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The wearing of personal protective equipment is required.

Essential Functions:

  1. Monitors and leads team members to ensure quality, productivity, safe working environment and high morale are being achieved with positive results in all areas.
  2. Manages departmental performance measures, to include keeping record of each team member’s performance.
  3. Provides leadership, coaching, and development; includes resolving team member issues, motivating to enhance production quantity, and ensuring standards are maintained at a high level.
  4. Maintains proper inventory levels; this includes keeping records of equipment, budgets, deliveries, and supplies.
  5. Manages department priorities; this includes developing schedules for implementation of projects.
  6. Tracks time and attendance; this includes creating work schedules for team members and ensuring adherence.
